Suggest Remedy For Pain Due To Hemorrhoids

So, I believe I have a hemorrhoid :( I have had unbearable pain for the past 6 days. Walking, bending over, picking up my 2 year old, etc. I can not even begin to imagine the pain if I run. I have taken a mirror to investigate whats going on at about the 2 day mark. At first, it was a grape-sized smooth ball, bluish/purplish in color, and EXTREMELY painful. My mother insisted it was a hemorrhoid and for me to use cornstarch and that it would just go away in a few days. The corn starch BURNED like fire. Burns when water touches it. Ive tried prep-h, witch hazel (burrrns!) and anything else I could find on the internet. 2 days ago, my father in law gave me some cortisone suppositories. They have been AMAZING. The ball has shrank and now looks/feels like skin. My only worry is, its back to flesh color, but there are 2 red/black ulcers (?) on it. It is not painful unless those 2 spots are touched. Any ideas? It doesnt hurt to use the rest room. I can push it back inside, which makes it feel way better. I am just concerned about these sore/ulcers. Is this normal for hemorrhoids?
