Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM .
Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
IN the given situation, You seems to suffer from-?PAD(
Peripheral Artery disease of Legs) or from-L5/S1- PID with S1 compression.
paresthesia in your case progressively developing to totally numb big toe, indicates, S1
nerve impingment with lost senses.
PAD would have been more excruciating pains with blueness in the great toe, occurring from -physical
stress and trauma- and or from narrowed arterial supply and would develop over a chronic history/ or with sudden history-in cases of embolic PAD.
Urgent Consults from team of Orthopedic and Vascular Surgeon would assess and fix either of these 2 possibilities in your case.
USG with Colour Doppler study and CT spine with Contrast study would fix the diagnosis in your case.
As the pain is not severe and as big toe colour is normal, chances of PID with S1 impingement are more in your case.
Remedy-
Confirmation of diagnosis with Consults and investigation from team of Orthopedic and Neuro-Surgeon / and or /Vascular Surgeon would decide further treatment accordingly.
Urgent attendance to your numb big toe is essential and time should not be wasted in your case,so as to save from further serious complications.
Hope this would help you to plan further of this complex illness of yours.
