General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, as the amplitude of symptoms indicate upper limb issue with swelling fingers and palm along with effects over lower back, thigh, hip and buttocks, definitely the single site surgery is not curative.

In my clinic, after thorough clinical examination, I do recommend a conservative therapy approach with:
- Assisted physiotherapy
- Ultrasound therapy with wax bath
- Local application of heating pad
- Use of analgesic gel or spray containing diclofenac, capsaicin
- Control of blood sugar and body weight
- Good quality analgesic with anti inflammatory actions

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
