Suggest Remedy For Numbness On Fingers After Injury

I hit my hand on a car door when someone opened it in front of me while riding my bike. The base of my middle finger is numb now but I can move all my fingers no problem. If I put pressure between my knuckles I get a sharp tingling feeling throughout my fingers. Is something wrong?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Sometimes with a little blunt trauma a branch of nerve can suffer minor damage. It seems to be temporary. Take tabket diclofenac sodium 50 mg 1 × PO × BD and topical diclofenac sodium applied BD. Wrap crepe bandage over your hand.
