Suggest Remedy For Muscle Pain After Taking Hydrocodone Acetaminophen

What can I do to relieve severe muscle pain from a side effect of hydrocodone acetaminophen 7.5-325 that I was to take for pain from having 3 teeth removed. The last dosage I took was 4 pm. I have eaten a sweet potato and butter beans and have been drinking a lot of water to flush it from my system. The muscle pain is really bad. Can I take an Aleve for the pain?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It will be a simple muscular pain.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.

Generally, the symptoms will settle in a couple of days.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
