Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. From the description, I am to understand that your father is not taking any medicines for mental illness. The mental illness of his age 35 needs to be addressed once again with the help of a psychiatrist. You have to take your father to a psychiatrist and explain all the details. He shall diagnose and prescribe accordingly.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
