Suggest Remedy For High Fever And Throat Infection

hi i am 26 years old female i have been suffering from a viral infection in my throat for the past 4 days i cant swallow food or drink but manage to force co codamol and phenoxmethyl penicillin 250mg Antibiotics but the pain is extravagent... i have a very high temerature too today is the 4th day and my ulvra has swollen causing discomfort breathing as it get stuck.. is this dangerous to continue having medication on an empty stomack? although i feel like they are no help. can you advice me on anything?

Hi,

Please don't take the infection lightly. I feel the antibiotic taken is not effective or not in sufficient dose. Control of throat infection with high fever must be treated by adequate antibiotic these days and if no relief exclusion of COVID is essential. Sorry, antibiotic needs to be decided after examining you and judge severity and type of infection, prescribing antibiotic without examination is not right. Please consult an ENT specialist earliest.
