Suggest Remedy For High BP Post Intake Of Medication For Migraine

Good day, I m a 27 year old female I have a 9 month old baby boy. during my pregnancy I was put on hypertension medication. but 6 weeks after his birth the doctor took me off of the medication. 2 weeks ago I had a case of severe migraines that lasted for 6days I used the migraine kits and went for the injection as well it eventually cleared. This morning I had my BP taken and it was 140/102 and the nurse told me it is high. what can cause it to rise again is it a sign that I must start taking medication again?

Hello,

No need to start antihypertensive medicines, this raised blood pressure is due to ergotamine which you have taken for your migraine most likely, this is transient rise in blood pressure which will settled down with time.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
