Suggest Remedy For Headache, Dizziness And Inflamed Nose

Hi, I'm eighteen years old and about two weeks ago, I had a sinus infection that lasted about two weeks with a lot of mucus. The infection was gone for about a week and a half, but in its wake I was left with an odd sensation of intense burning in my nose when laying down or bending over (a lot like inhaling water). This is typically accompanied by headaches and dizziness. In the last few days, my nose has become congested again, but there is rarely any mucus, and if there is, it's clear. Mostly just inflammation. Is this normal? What should I do to remedy this?

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I reviewed your query and here is advise.

I think this is sinusitis.
You can use Desloratadine as an antihistamine to help inflammation. Also rinse nose frequently with saline water.
You can use Otrivine or pseudoephedrine decongestant as nasal spry.
Your doctor may prescribe you Corticosteroids spry as Budesonide for it.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The burning sensation is due to inflammation of nasal mucosa. Use saline nasal drops and humidifier in your room at night. You can also take Cetirizine.
