Suggest Remedy For Forearm Pain

Hi I am 19 year female. I got a PPD test done 10 days ago in my right arm for a new job and I had to get a second one done. So today I got it done in my other arm around 3pm and about 2 hours ago I started rubing my arm thinking why the heck is my arm hurting so bad? And I realized it was the arm I got the shot in today. My whole forearm hurts and feels weak. I don t remember my other arm hurting at all so I was worried.

Hi,

PPD tests can react differently in different people. There can be swelling and redness with some pain and itching. In some cases may go on to ulceration. It important not to aggravate the condition by scratching or rubbing. Apply ice and take a antihistamine pill and simple pain relievers. Its possible that the other side was improperly given or vice versa. Anyhow, just don't make it worse, and above all do not worry.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
