Suggest Remedy For Extreme Fluctuations In Body Weight Post Intake Of Eltroxin

Hey! I had an period issue started from last 4 years and when i had an tests of different kinds it was mentioned that i am having minor thyriod issue so the treatement of that started. Now I am having a weight issue because of tablets that has been given by my doctor to get over the thyriod problem and my treatement is still going on since last 4 years. When i started taking tablets my weight started to decrease and it decreased to 15kg. But now it has increasing and i have gained 13kg in just 3 months and according to my doctor my tsh report is normal but he can t take a risk by stoping my tablets. Please tell me whats wrong why my weight is increasing so fast. The tablet that i take is ELTROXIN.

Hi,

I feel you need an expert endocrinologists treatment. You should undergo periodic thyroid assessment &dose adjustment as per need.

This would take considerable time to find your exact dose..which would give you good results.

Once thyroid is diagnosed a lifelong medication (adjusted as &when needful)is a must for normal health maintenance.Dont think of stopping medicine.
