The issue seems in relation with
digestive enzyme disturbances or
motility disorder. Though per
rectal examination is best tool to initiate the diagnostic approach, following measures will help you for primary relief till consultant surgeon visit:
- Drink plenty of liquids
- Consume high fiber diet including green leafy veg, cereals, pulses, legumes, berries
- Avoid all spices, non veg, junk food, dairy fat
- Take bulk forming laxative such as Bran, Psyllium with glassful of lukewarm water every night
- Chew your food very thoroughly
- Consume frequent small amount of meals
- Avoid over eating or prolong fasting
- Do not sleep for a period of 2 hours after lunch or dinner
- Do regular aerobics
- Control body weight, blood sugar and cholesterol
- Manage regular sound sleep of 8 hours
- Avoid smoking, alcohol if consuming
- Prescription of anti spasmodic medication as
Drotaverine or
Dicyclomine hydrochloride
