Suggest Remedy For Difficulty In Bowel Movement Post Sphincterotomy

My husband has done piles surgery and after that he lost his spincter muscles and without knowing he pass motion. Now he has done sphincter plastic surgery. But now he he having difficult to pass because motion is hard and stuck inside not coming out.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have difficulty in bowel movement post sphincterotomy . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query But in your case the symptoms are due to surgery . You can make your bowel movements less painful by getting enough fibre and fluids and using stool softeners or laxatives. Sitting in warm water after bowel movements will also help Your condition will be fine within 1-2 weeks . I would suggest you to take light walk daily which will boost blood circulation which will help in healing , try to eat low fat diet and probiotics food like yogurt . If condition doesn't get well then consult your doctor again , doctor will reexamine and treat it accordingly .
