Suggest Remedy For Dark Patches On Nose

applied applecider for removing melasma on my nose but in eagerness before the skin peels off naturally I myself peeled the skin on my nose resulting in black patch my dermatologist suggested me eumosone for 3 days and dermagel for scar softening but there s no change and am very sad because of this ugly dark patch on my nose am about to get engagd n November ! canis there any way to completely cure before November

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

You seem to have developed Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) at the site.
If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05% cream, twice daily, at the affected site.
This is a prescription steroid (more potent than clobetasone propionate, present in eumosone cream).
It would take approximately 5-7 days to get back to normal. Use a gentle cleanser for face wash and avoid using soaps on face, till this gets better
Use a broad spectrum sunscreen before stepping outdoors so as to prevent sun induced darkening
