Suggest Remedy For Constipation In Infant
Hello doctor My baby was having vomitting & diarrhoea. After consulting with peadetrician he is fine after 3 days .now his stomach seems to be big and i feel he is having constipation. his motion is hard. he is as usual having food and active. Let me know is that anything serious?

Hi,
This often follows giving anti-motility drugs to treat diarrhea. If there is no abdominal pain or significant distension, you can try giving pure fruit juice like apple juice. Also give plenty of fluids. If no response in 3 days, kindly discuss with your doctor for laxative treatment
