Suggest Remedy For Chronic Left Sided Pain In Arm And Neck

I have been having pain in my arm and up my neck on the left side. It has been real stiff and achey. It hurts all of the time, some more than others. It s been going on for a year or more. I have been to 3 Doctors. Don t take pain pills, just want it to stop. Have been told different reasons it s like that, but not getting better. I notice now that my neck on that side looks like it has a slight purple swollen line going up the side starting at my caller bone.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

First of all you should do ECG and ultrasound of heart to make sure that this pain isn't coming from the heart.

Also do a x-ray of chest to check for costochondritis, inflammation of cartilage on sternum which can cause the pain.

If costochondritis is the cause then you can use anti-inflammatory drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
