I have ulcerated colitis I take lialda I ve been out of remission fo 15 months I go to bathroom 2 to 3 times a day I watch what I eat but I have diaheria everytime I go to batheroom loss 35 lb in the past 6 month is this normal my doctor suggested uceris but too expensive my co pay is 1,800 dollars for 90 day supply
The only way to avoid diarrhea in ulcerative colitis (UC) is to get treated for UC directly. This is usualy accomplished with suflasalazine at the very least, and sometimes more expensive antibody-based medication. Otherwise, the problem will continue.
