Hello,

You are suffering from chronic back ache and stiffness. It is usually caused by a strained muscle or arthritis in the lumbar spine. Lumbar strain can be managed by rest, gentle massage with pain relieving ointment and by taking pain relieving medicines like anti inflammatory or muscle relaxants. Lumbar spine osteoarthritis may also present with similar symptoms. Get clinically examined by a GP or an Orthopedics.

Get X-ray or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test done to help figure out the underlying cause. X-ray will help to detect bone damage, bone spurs (osteophytes), bone remodeling (ossification), and the loss of joint cartilage that can occur over time. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. Get all the required blood tests done as well.

One of the main causes of a burning sensation in your neck is sleeping wrong or using pillows that are too flat or hard. Take pillows that are comfortable. Sleeping wrong can cause the tiny nerves in your neck to become pinched, resulting in a burning sensation.

Nerve compression or neck strain/sprain can also cause similar symptoms. Get Nerve conduction velocity test done. Get clinically evaluated. Get connected to a Physical therapist for stretching exercises, ice and heat therapy, etc. Get treated at the earliest. In the meantime, you can take NSAIDs for relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
