Hi
Throat pain after taking a drug is common due to irritation of the throat mucous membrane. This could most likely be the reason for the pains you feel after taking Zoloft. You may take a pain medication like ibuprofen, drink water frequently and observe. The pain will go away.If it persist, you can then get your throat examined by the Doctor to rule out other causes of throat pain.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
