Suggest Remedy For Bruised Feeling In Throat After Jabbing It Due To Anxiety
I have a history of bad anxitey and had an episode on sept 7 where i ended up jabbing myself on the right side of my throat it ended up hurting really bad afther words then a couple days later I had pain in my right side of throat/neck area it would hurt when i swallowed or drank cold drinks for the next week then I got a fever and a bad cough took some nyquiel felt better the next day started feeling better was not hurting when swallowing but my right side of throat still feels bruised pain comes and goes dont hurt when i eat but the bruise feeling still there please help me?
The trauma from striking at the throat may cause some of the discomfort that you are experiencing though it would normally take a few weeks only to heal unless it is repeatedly damaged.
If the pain is consistent and severe then it may be best to see an ENT doctor to have your throat scoped to see if there is any permanent damage.
