Suggest Remedy For Bloating When On CPAP

I have been using my CPAP for a few weeks (on and off getting more and more used to it). There has been bad bloating since day one. However A couple of weeks ago I developed Groin acking over a couple of days that eventually radiated into my lower abdomen that persisted all day. It finally got so severe I thought I had kidney stones. The next day (after not wearing the CPAP), the pain was gone and I assumed I had passed a small stone. I didn t use the CPAP for about a week. After starting to use it again, after two days I began to develope that dull groin ache again. When I went the next night without the CPAP the pain subsided. What is that all about??

Hello,

As you explain the situation it this is not related directly with the cpap usage. Or during using CPAP you swallow a lot of air and your intestine now is with gases and hurts. Please try to use correctly the CPAP.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
