Suggest Remedy For Bending Of Nose

Recently I accidentally elbowed a friend of mine on the side of her nose. At the time she was in a lot of pain, but I know I didn t break it because she did not bleed and the pain only lasted for a very short period of time. The tip of her nose is still completely straight but the upper 2/3 of her nose shifted ever so slightly toward the direction I elbowed her. It s a really big deal to her, because her nose was so perfectly straight. I was just wondering if there was anything we could do other than surgery. Thanks for your time.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I recommend consulting with a skin surgeon. There are different techniques of skin injection that can help improve asymmetry. But it is important to make a good physical exam in order to exclude a possible broken nose, which would need surgery and fixing.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
