Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My father (who is 67 years old) has a blood pressure reading of 155 (unsure of the bottom number). He started blood pressure tablets a week ago as his initial reading was over 170. Since being on medication it has reduced a little but not by much. Is there anything he can do to help lower his blood pressure as it s causing lots of acute headaches and migraines, lethargy and loss of appetite. What should his normal reading be for his age? He is in otherwise good health. Thank you.
