Suggest Remedy For A Bruise On The Foot
I got hit high on the inside of the ankle with a softball a week ago. 2 days ago the inside of my foot about 6 inches below where I got hit started bruising. There is now a large bruise from the back of my foot to at least midway up my foot. Is the bruising from getting hit in the ankle? I can walk fine but it definitely hurts when my injured side hits the ground.

From description it seems to be soft tissue injury over ankle. Extensive bruise could be due to rupture of microvasculature.
Get an xray done to rule out any bony injury.
Beside icing and elevating it, you can take antiinflammatory drug like ibuprofen to reduce pain and inflammation.
