Suggest Remedy For A Bruise On The Ankle

About an hour ago I was hopping on one leg and my ankle made a snapping sound when it collasped underneath me. There was some swelling and bruising until I got ice on it 5 minutes later and it mainly went away. It still hurts a little and can t bend it side to side. Did I sprain it? How long will it take to heal? How can I heal it faster?

Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got your ankle sprained due to hopping on one leg.It will take nearly 3weeks to get it completely healed.healing can be faster if you got it plastered. So you are advised to visit orthopedician of your choice get it plastered. For pain and inflammation relief you can take analgesic and antiinflamatory drugs such as diclofenac/ ibuprofen.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
