Suggest Remedies For Swelling And Pain Due To Water Boil On My Leg

Hello doctors! I am 21yrs old, Actually due to the wedges what i use to wear, I had got a small water boil sort on the thumb finger of my right leg. On the second day the boil started to form puss inside and the surrounding area along with the finger started to swell with pain and intense itching. I consulted one doctor and he prescribed me carefex, dolcet, acizol and fanzil(didn t understand the name properly on the prescription) tablet along with one ointment named fynderm. I started to take the tablets and on the second day of my intake of tablets, the blood along with the puss was out from the boil but there was no improvent in the reduction in the swelling of my feet, I continued the tablet for one more day and on finding no improvement I consulted another doctor and he prescribed me two tablets i.e Refzil O and emanzen D along with an ayurvedic ointment naming pandit ranjan. I have started taking it from today morning only...and my pain has reduced to a lot. And I find a slight change in the swelling as well. I want to get recovered soon as its creating difficulties for me in walking as well and while going for work ..I have to stop in between again and again cause of pain. And its been almost a week for this nw. Plz suggest something doctor, will I recover soon with the medicines that I am taking or are there any home remedies that I can take that can reduce the swelling of my feet. Thank you

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the day is furunculosis which is an infection of the hair follicle. It can be treated with topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin. You must avoid pricking or fiddling with them. A short course of oral antibiotic like amoxycillin may be required .Regards
