Suggest Remedies For Red Pimple Like Bumps Around The Vagina

I have a few red pimple like bumps on the outside of my vagina. I am married but had a fling with a guy I used to know. The last time I had sex with him was two weeks ago and then today I notice the bumps. I have no fever or rash anywhere else. He says he s clean and he is married as well. I am so paranoid right now and ashamed of myself since I am too old to be doing this and the guilt.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What problems you are facing could be due to skin infection in the genital area.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Clean the area with mild antiseptic solution like Povidine-iodine twice daily.
2. After drying, apply Neomycin cream over the lesions as thin layer.
3. Take antiinflammatory medication like Ibuprofen after food.
4. Wear loose fitting undergarments to provide ventilation and avoiding friction in the area.
5. Abstain from sexual activities till the lesion heals completely.
Maintain good personal hygiene.
