Suggest Remedies For Persistent Ringing And Sharp Pain In Left Ear

I've had this ringing in my left ear that won't stop. And I also get strap pain from time to time to. The ring is giving in a headache out of this world. Went to the doctors he said there was some fluid in that ear. Give in antibiotic and a nose spray. It took the pain away but the ringing is still there at times it seems like its not that loud but then it gets louder. It's driving in crazy.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent ringing and sharp pain in left ear which is due to earwax and fluid accumulation and it could be due to foreign body infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep ears dry. take Ibuprofen for ear pain. Do Not apply any pressure on left ear and avoid excessive mobile use from that side. You should consult ENT specialist for proper checkup and treatment. Doctor will examine ear physically and with otoscope and rule out causes like wax buildup. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics for at least for 10 days along with anti inflammatory drugs.
