Suggest Remedies For Painful Wrist Caused By Boxing Injury

Ever since a slight boxing injury 3 years ago, my right wrist hasn t ever felt the same way again and every time I visit my family doctor, he tells me to not partake in any physical activities for awhile. After a couple of weeks, I go back to exercising and the pain comes back. How do i fix this in such a way which allows me to box properly again?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns.
If you plan to do box professionally then you should do more detailed test and it includes MRI scan of the wrist since this is the only imaging test that can provide possible ligament or tendon injury. There are some specilized procedures which can help for such injuries and are usually done by plastic surgeons. For boxing, you need to be completely fit and pain free so it is advisable to treat this.
I hope I have answered you query
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
