Suggest Remedies For Pain In The Back Radiating To The Ribcage Post Injury

I injured my middle back area 8 days ago and had multiple spasms, pain and pain when twisting or getting in and out of my car. I exercised at my gym on the treadmill and elliptical machines a couple of days after this which seemed to worsen my condition. I have used ice packs and taken over the counter meds the last week but I still have mild pain which radiates to my rib cage, chest and right side and I get sharp pain after certain movements. What is the best course of action at this point?

Thank for posting on HCM.
Often for musculoskeletal injury time off completely will last at least one month also lost every new pain elimination. I assume that you have been fully tested and is not serious. using ice is wrong, you have to use warm packs to improve blood flow. pain that bothers you a lot, you should practice gentle movement of movements, bending, twisting into 2 sides, tilted back, drink more mineral water.
Wishing you good health!
