Suggest Remedies For Pain And Discomfort In Throat After Swallowing A Fish Bone

Hi, I ve swallowed a fishbone and it is stuck in my throat since 4 days. I ate bread with peanut butter, drank salt Waler , olive oil ... I can still breath talk and swallow but I can feel it and it brings me pain and discomfort and it is really annoying. What should I do ?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain and discomfort in throat after swallowing a fishbone which will cause accumulation of bacteria and debris and giving you pinched sensation type feel and acting as foreign body there. It can cause small abrasion in food pipe.

I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist immediately and get it examined completely. You should go for fibro-optic scan and with the help of fiberoptic tip get that bone removed which is causing problem. Do warm saline gargles and maintain basic oral hygiene.
