Hello,

I will suggest you to keep on monitoring the blood pressure on daily basis. Of blood pressure remains below 140/90 it's better to keep her off medicines. Usually the effect of medicine disappears in 5 to 7 days. And also appears in 5 to 7 days. Keeping this fact in mind, her BP might come back to abnormal high levels after 5 to 7 days. Her lower blood pressure is low as compared to normal. She needs an Echocardiography to look for cause of this low diastolic(lower BP) BP.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Faisal Bacha, Internal Medicine Specialist
