Suggest Remedies For Excessive Vomiting At 35 Weeks Pregnancy

Im 35 weeks pregnant i vomitted earlier today i had just drink some water when i threw up it was green liquid then i ate my stomach started hurting bad started feeling sick again and i vomitted again but that time the food i ate came up then i vomitted again. My baby is moving alot and im scared to eat so ive been drinking a ginger ale because nothing has stayed down i go to doctor tomorrow but should i be worried now

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
I think vomiting is due to gastritis in addition to hormonal change in the pregnancy.
you have to consult obstetrician.


Take the following advice:
Increased rest time.
Take fresh outdoor air help in faster improvement

Diet care:
1. Eat when hungry
2. Small frequent diet
3. Avoid spicy fatty foods
4. Avoid pill with iron
5. High protein diet reduce vomiting
6. Try to take Herbal tea, cracker, unbutterd toast, gelatin contain desserts help to reduce severity
7. Take more carbonate beverages.

Drugs
1. Tablet metroclopramide: 5-10 mg orally 4-5 times/day
2. Tablet Promethazine: 12 mg rectally 3 times/day
3. Tablet doxylamine: 12 mg 4 times/day
4. Tablet of Vitamin B6: 10 mg 4 times/day
5. Injection ondensaterone 8 mg in unresponsive case
6. Ginger capsule 250 mg 4 times/day

Accupressor therapy: electrical stimulation around wrist help to reduce severity.
Psychological consultation: to reduce anxiety
Behaviour therapy
Close follow up under obstetrician
