you are going through a tough phase of life which will eventually pass.
please concentrate on your health. Get regular sugar check up, and keep it under control. This seem to be pseudo dementia, that is, loss of concentration is due to the dismal news in family. In due course of time, it will be ok. Give time some time... it will heal..till then, follow your diet, activity and insulin doses as per doctors advice.
