Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain on the little finger side where my hand meets my wrist. Turning it outward, twisting it or lifting much of anything causes a burning pain followed by an ache. I also have multiple epiphysial dysplasia. Lots of surgeries on my knees, hips, shoulders and back (spinal stenosis) but no work on my hands...
Pain in little finger associated with burning sensation could be due to compression of the nerve.
Since you have a history of multiple bone-related problems, it is possible that the symptoms experienced by you in hands and wrist are probably due to the pre-existing condition - epiphysial dysplasia.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
