Suggest Remedies For A Painful Swollen Face Along With Tooth Infection

Hi. Woke up with a painful swollen face this morning and I ve just looked in the back of my mouth to see a slit in the gum revealing the metal plate in had put in about 15 years ago of which the gum seems to be infected. What would you suggest as my next course of action being Saturday evening. Should I wait til Monday or go to a and e. Not sure what to do? Thanks Mark

Hi,

As per your complain you have problem of swelling at face area. Untreated Infection of tooth lead to spread a infection in medical terminology space infection occur. Consult a oromaxilofacial surgeon for further treatment. Intravenous antibiotics course may use in severe space infection. Antiinflamatory drugs also use for it.

After decrease a swelling around face than tooth infection can treated. After oral examination of mouth exact diagnosis can occurs. Avoid citrus and avoid sweat foods. Avoid warm water also these all are aggravate a condition. As soon as possible consult a doctor.
