Suggest Remedies For A Kidney Stone

I think I have a UTI or Kidney stone. I am in an area where the hurricane is right now so can t get immediate treatment. I am a 52 yr old male, having low back pain isolated on right side, frequent urge to urinate, nausea, had vomiting on Monday, no fever, no blood in urine. How should I self treat until able to get medical treatment?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You have to investigate further with ultrasonography of pelvis and abdomen. The x-ray also can be done for further work up.

It's advisable to investigate with urine routine microscopic examination as well to check the presence of pus cells and bacteria in urine.

According to reports conclusive diagnosis and management can be given.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
