Suggest Remedies For Independent Evaluation Due Internal Damage Caused By Electric Shock

my husband was hit with 270 volts of electricity last Oct. He was seen in the ER and had minor physical injuries where he hit his elbow during the fall and his thumb had 2 places that were burned. he has been seen by an orthoped and his elbow and finger joint have some long term damage. this is a worker's comp case and the orthoped has done the rating, but has suggested that my husband seek an independent medical evaluation to be sure there are no other long term consequences from the electricity exposure. what type of doctor should he see for this independent evaluation? Internal medicine?

Thanks.
