Hi,

Rabies can be prevented by avoiding bites by the stray dogs, vaccinating pet dogs or cats against rabies (by veterinarians), not consuming milk or meat from rabid or suspected rabid cows or buffaloes the rabies. Since you have taken only two doses of anti-rabies vaccines, take the remaining two doses on day 7 and day 14 following the dog bite.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
