Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
what do you suggest for a painful callus- I have had one on the bottom of my foot for many years- usually I have it shaved down every three months. it is very painful and I would like to have it removed without going under anesthesia for surgery. Isn t there a way to have my callus removed by laser?
I think you can try to use salycilic acid patches on it to help it being reduce. Wear wide shoes and ones that don't hurt you. Then you can use laser for it.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
