Suggest Natural Remedy For Pain In Back Right Leg

My dog recently injured his back right leg after jumping off the bed. I brought him to the vet and he prescribed Rimadyl, but it did not agree with him. I went back to the vet and they took blood work and I am waiting for results before starting him on Tramadol. Frankly, I would prefer a more natural remedy for this pain. I read the cautions for both medications and I am concerned. Any suggestions? Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, seems issue with ligament sprain or strain of foot portion. Best home remedies without side effects for pain control are like:
- Local application of heating pad
- Use Diclofenac, Linseed oil spray or ointment at the affected part

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
