Hi. Not long after I turned 40 my hair completely changed. 4 years on still having problems My hair is like straw, brittle and frizzy I also suffer from burning and itchy scalp. Doc keep prescribing medication that my hairdresser tells me not to use as my hair is too dry. Many thanks Lorraine

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi...Thanks for considering Ask a doctor service...
I understand your worries...
I advise you to use Aloe vera shampoo with C.Vitamin E mix with your shampoo this will surely help to moisturize your dry scalp and reduce hair fall...
If still symptoms persist then switch over you Minoxidil shampoo for 3 months and consult a dermatologist for further management
Hope your doubts are cleared
Take care
