Suggest Medicine For Burning Sensation In Eyes After Cataract Surgery

I had cataract surgery in both eyes early sept and Oct - some days my eyes really burn that I have a hard time to keep them open. I use Systane drops but not sure if it helps. My ophtalmologist says that it is dry eye syndrome and it can last up to 6 months after the surgery. What else can i do for relief.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having burning sensation of eyes as a result of dry eye syndrome induced by cataract surgery.
The treatment is by use of artificial tears eye drops.
Hence you can continue systane eye drops or you can use alternative artificial tears eye drops like refresh tears.

Thank you
