Suggest Medications For Depression Which Doesn't Cause Weight Gain

Are there any medications for depression that do not cause weight gain? I am already depressed about the circumstances in my life, I do not need to gain weight and make it worse. You know I just thought you wanted to help and really you want to charge me and then I will be tricked into paying weekly or daily until I can finally get you to stop charging me. Why aren't you just up front with the charges FIRST instead of PRETENDING YOU TRULY WANT TO HELP PEOPLE.

Hello
Thanks for asking

Most of anti-depressant cause weight gain but few anti-depressants can be utilised in weight loss also. If we consider SSRI medicines paroxetine is most offending drug and it cause significant weight gain but Sertraline can be used in obese persons also and it is least associated with weight gain. The drug is also safe to use in cardiac patents.

Other antidepressants like Bupropion can also be used in obese persons. Bupropion is not associated with weight gain and can be used safely. I would advise you to consult your psychiatrist for detailed prescription of these drugs.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
