Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello docters, My son is 14 months old now. When he was 9 months old means 5 months back, few tea drops was fall on his hand at wrist. Wound was cured in 15 days but the mark is still exists. We use Momate cream for that mark but it was cleared some extent but not completely. Could you please suggest us a cream/medicine to get the wound mark clear off. Thanks in advance
As per my surgical experience, the old scar not recovered completely after application of Momate cream will not be curable by other cream application or medical remedies. Laser therapy or scar revision are best possible options for your son recovery. However, if you can provide me a photo pic of high resolution showing the scar area, I can guide you further precisely in this matter for sure.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
