Suggest Medication Regimen For Treating Fluctuating Blood Sugar Level
Dear Dr, I am 73 years of old south indian. I am veg. My wight is 68 kg and height is 5.7 feet. As I was having a flexuated blood sugar level slightly, I was advised to take VOGLINORM 0.3 mg for the past 18 months I am always mainting the fasting sugar level at less than 100 and pp level less than 130. Please advice me about taking of medicine further. Also inform me the acceptable blood sugar level for my age.
The sugar levels you have mentioned absolutely in control. Continue the same medication as of now. The sugar levels of fasting up to 110 and PP up to 150 are normal. If the sugar levels are going too low like fasting less than 70, then stop medication and consult the treating doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Phanindra Dulipala, Diabetologist
