Suggest Medication For Vomiting, Abdominal Pain And Loose Motions In Child

My daughter is 3.5yrs old and our daughter has motions (watery) for 4 times and our doctor has suggested to give Econorm and oflomac m forte. After 4 hrs and having food , she started vomitting and having abdomen pain. Kindly suggest what to do. We have given ORS now.

most likely baby is suffering from Gastroenteritis.
The most common cause in children is RotaVirus. Treatment is usually conservative as the disease is self-limited.

Advice :
1. STOP Oflomac immediately But you may continue Econorm
2. continue ORS every 3 to 4 hours 30ml to 50ml
3. give the baby less amount of food in small intervals; food being soft, example: banana
4. keep the baby upstraight for alteast 10 to 15 minutes after being fed
5. if NO improvement in a day or two OR if any sign of dehydration, visit treating physician immediately
