Suggest Medication For Toothache When Allergic To NSAID

I have allergy from NSAID painkillers. When intake result in severe allergy problems like swelling if eyes, problem in breathing, flu n cough n sometimes swelling of lips by in taking ibuprofen... Now I am having toothache is there any non NSAID painkillers I can take? Please answer quickly

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of toothache when allergic to NSAID. Need not to worry.

I would suggest you to :
Till now you should :-

- Do warm saline rinses several times a day . .

- Do betadine rinses twice a day .

- Avoid hot and spicy food.

- Take proper course of antioinflammatory medications along with antibiotics.

Consult dentist for proper oral prophylaxis like scaling and curetage along with antibiotics .Doctor may perform root canal if the pulp of the tooth get infected.
