General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
sorry about the injury. If the injury is mild, you can manage it by conservative method such as ice packs and some painkillers with scrotal support to prevent any damage immediately after trauma. Swelling is one of the most important sign of major injury. You said, there is reduction in the size. So don't worry. It might be mild one. Better you may for scrotal Ultrasound with Doppler which shows both tissue injury and also blood flow abnormalities. Please take rest for two or three days which may helpful to recover completely from injury. Use comfortable briefs, keep ice packs for sometime to reduce the swelling, take painkillers for three days and rest. Hope you will better soon.
