Suggest Medication For Swelling In Elbow

I believe I banged my elbow on the door this afternoon. I really didn t pay much attention because it didn t hurt. Within a half an hour I noticed a golf sized swelling on my elbow. I am assuming it is fluid possibly from the injury. Is this serious and should I seek medical attention or just ice and rest it.

Hi welcome to healthcare magic forum,
In my opinion the time for rest and ice is already elapsed so as of now you have to rule out if there is any hair line fracture or not, so just get a X-Ray of your elbow done followed by anti-inflammatory medicines, if there any fracture exists then you might need a plaster cast for 6 weeks.
It will be always better to get a medical advice so that you can remain relaxed after knowing the details of your elbow.

Regards,
Thanks
